The Work
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Retail Lending Transformation, Growth Businesses, and working alongside business unit stakeholders, Marketing, and Tech, the Senior Manager supports the strategy and roadmap for EquitableBank.ca, managing a dedicated pod for execution.
The website is critical for educating mortgage brokers, engaging consumers, and generating leads, especially for our direct-to-consumer lending (reverse mortgages). This role is key in optimizing impact, driving performance, and supporting growth ambitions.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and manage the product roadmap for EquitableBank.ca, leveraging user insights, brand, and product knowledge to enhance on-site experience and increase conversions.
- Focus on our direct-to-consumer lending (reverse mortgage), supporting tools and testing hypotheses to improve lead capture and conversion.
- Partner with business units, marketing, and analytics to define success metrics and report on performance against OKRs.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including user research, sprint planning, execution, retrospectives, and releases.
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for effective communication with development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an optimal user experience and maximize conversion.
- Manage website conversion strategies, including testing, data analysis, and hypothesis development for feature and content improvements.
- Support website initiatives and tests, manage backlog prioritization, grooming, and requirements documentation.
- Implement SEO strategies to improve search rankings, traffic, and conversions, including content gap analysis and keyword optimization.
- Coordinate with marketing and analytics to monitor performance and share insights for ongoing improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and work with legal, compliance, and fraud teams to ensure security and compliance.
- Support additional activities under the Senior Product Manager’s guidance.
