Our Product Innovation team is at the forefront of creating cutting-edge digital solutions, including APIs, web applications, and other digital touchpoints, that drive our business forward.

We are seeking a visionary, passionate, customer-obsessed, highly analytical Sr. Product Manager in the Digital Product Innovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of digital product strategy in the DHL eCommerce logistics value chain. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Solutions, Product strategy, Customer Service, and the Postal Operations team. You will develop an end-to-end understanding of business, technical, and operational flows. You will use this knowledge for addressing business challenges, customer requirements, and compliance needs to build new digital products, product features, and customer integration tools that allow the accessibility of our portfolio to all stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Build an understanding of our customers, our business, and our industry. Continuously stay updated with industry trends and advancements to keep our digital products at the forefront of innovation.

  • Independently shepherd new digital products through ideation, design, implementation to go-live and post go-live hyper care support and feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners such as third-party vendors (3PVs) and other DHL Business Units (BUs) acting as the go-to resource for offering insights and solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Oversee the full API lifecycle from design, development, and testing to deployment, monitoring, and retirement. Ensure APIs are designed for scalability, reliability, and security, and align with business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for API versioning, documentation, and governance. Continuously evaluate and improve API performance and facilitate the migration from legacy systems to modern web service-driven architectures.
  • Support the Solutions Engineering and onboarding teams with navigating customer requirements, serving as an advocate to help accelerate the adoption of new API capabilities among customers and partners. Provide technical expertise and guidance during the onboarding process, helping to troubleshoot issues and streamline implementation.

Actively listen to the voice of the customer to gather valuable feedback and insights, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Integrate customer feedback, internal stakeholder input, market research, and industry trends to uncover new product features and capabilities.
  • Prioritize these opportunities within a product roadmap that aligns with the broader product strategy, ensuring a cohesive and forward-thinking development plan.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of internal operational movement, billing processes, customer visibility, and reporting mechanisms. Leverage this knowledge to enhance product functionality, streamline operations, and improve overall customer experience.
  • Evaluate multiple requirements and prioritize them using a framework that considers customer impact, revenue potential, cost optimization, product stability, and strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with strategic goals and drives business growth.
  • Manage a small team of Product and Business Analysts to act as the cross-functional IT product demand owner, conveying end-to-end business requirements to the software engineering team through storyboards, process flows, and user stories / epics.
