Development of DC power systems including singleline diagrams battery capacity calculations and connection drawings for chargers batteries inverters etc. Drawing up specifications for equipment manufacture and installation on site. Collaborate with engineers and technicians in the execution of technical tasks. Participate in project coordination meetings and design reviews. Coordinate work with other engineering disciplines involved in projects such as electrical structural civil auxiliary mechanical heavy mechanical building and architectural engineering. In a world where the energy transition is becoming increasingly important the Engineer will be called upon to play an active role in clean energy projects related to hydroelectric facilities. Our Protection and Control (P&C) team is looking for people to assist us in carrying out engineering for various multidisciplinary mandates such as the refurbishment of turbinegenerator sets electrical and mechanical auxiliary services and automation in HydroQubec power plants. You will evolve in a multidisciplinary environment and able to develop your skills by collaborating with experienced professionals and will be offered opportunities to participate in internal and external training.
We offer a flexible hybrid work model enabling you to work from home and from one of our offices. You can be based out of one of our offices in the Eastern Townships (Sherbrooke Granby) Greater Montreal Area (Montral Longueuil) or Saguenay regions.
