RVA is looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Water team in a full-time permanent position.

Duties :

• Providing project engineering and technical expertise, review of hydraulic calculations, analysis, and design services for various water / wastewater treatment facilities
• Managing of water / wastewater projects including scope, schedule, and budget as well as managing client relationships
• Providing senior review and professional authentication of memos, reports, drawings, and other engineering documents
• Preparation of conceptual, preliminary and final process designs of :
• Wastewater Treatment Plants
• Pumping Stations
• Equalization tanks
• Outfalls
• Leading studies and Class EAs for water and wastewater projects
• Preparing proposals and reports
• Liaising with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies and utility companies and contractors
• Leading and participating in Business Development initiatives
• Planning projects, developing accurate scopes of work, project plans, schedules, and deliverables to execute high quality projects on time and on budget
• Mentoring and coaching project teams including technical and field staff
• Supervision of junior engineers, technologists, and designers.
• Other duties as assigned and appropriate for this position.
