Field Operator
We at Raise are hiring a Field Operato r for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand. Our Client, is the third largest producer of Canadian oil and natural gas and the second largest refiner and upgrader with extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure
Location : Christina Lake, Alberta
Contract Length : 10 Months
Camp role : This is a field-based position with a rotating shift schedule, and will be a fly in fly out

Description
Field Operator in this role will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Accountabilities
- Operate and Monitor Equipment : Oversee the operation of pumps, compressors, and other production equipment. Ensure all machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.
- Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Data Collection : Record and analyze production data. Use this information to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Environmental Stewardship : Ensure all operations comply with environmental regulations. Participate in initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
- Emergency Response : Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including equipment failures and environmental incidents. Participate in emergency response drills.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with other field operators, engineers, and management to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively and provide support as needed.
