Brandt is currently seeking a Vice President of Sales - Pipeline for the Alberta region, reporting to either our Edmonton or Calgary location.
This position will be our expert in the pipeline space. The role will be expected to have a deep understanding of the Pipeline business. Knowledge of the upcoming opportunities and who the bidders will be. The expectation of the role will be to build strong relationships with the key pipeline customers and industry insiders. The role will assist in developing employees. Creating sales and support programs, while increasing customer confidence with the goal of positioning Brandt as the preferred supplier / solution provider for all the Whole Good lines represented by Brandt in the North American pipeline market.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Achieve market share goals for the long-term success of Brandt.
- Achieve asset management goals for inventory turn and minimize aging.
- Provide input on standardized build codes for inventory products.
- Provide detailed feedback and forecasts for the required inventory levels to achieve sales and market share goals.
- Provide feedback and input for future opportunities with respect to competitive pressures.
- Understand, promote, and sell the telematic and machine monitoring capabilities that are differentiators delivered by Brandt and John Deere.
- Assist and evaluate competitive quotes and pricing to drive market intelligence, and increase share margins.
- Develop & execute effective sales and marketing programs.
- Work in conjunction with regional Brandt sales teams to build relationships with customers, develop multi-level sales strategies, provide mentorship and guidance on sales strategy and tactics to address market challenges.
- Assist in development of all employees within the area of responsibility with the goal of building a knowledgeable, motivated and successful teams.
- Drive sales growth and develop new opportunities in the Pipeline Industry in the defined area of responsibility.
- Extensive travel within assigned area of responsibility, travel is required, and international travel may also be required.
- Understand customer organization charts and the unique market challenges and opportunities.
- Increase knowledge of the Pipeline industry customer purchasing strategies, multi-year budgeting process (CAPEX / OPEX), and the general market trends
- Provide feedback to Brandt Product Support and Brandt Engineered Products to assist in the development of attachments and other products designed to increase opportunities in the industry.
- Participate in Brandt / Deere CAG (Customer Advocacy Group), initiatives.
