Acts as part of a multidisciplinary team with a receptionist role and performs clerical duties including data entry as related to ANSOS and OMNI server; maintains statistical information for various patient care areas within the Health Services / Service Delivery Units.
EDUCATION
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent educational preparation.
Proficient computer and keyboarding skills required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Unit Clerk experience preferred.
Related experience an asset.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and discretion in matters related to patients, staff, and hospital affairs.
Demonstrates compliance with confidentiality requirements.
