Job description

Adecco is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's team in Hamilton, ON. This is a temporary role offering $24.50 per hour, with the opportunity for you to showcase your skills in AR collections, rebuilding AR financial information, and year-end activities. If you are a detail-oriented professional with at least 3 years of AR experience and a strong proficiency in Excel, we would love to hear from you!

  • Pay rate : $24.50 / hour.
  • Location : Hamilton, ON | Hybrid - in office Wednesday and Friday, or as operationally required
  • Shifts : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm
  • Job type : Temporary| Full-time

    • Responsibilities :

  • Rebuilding AR financial information and maintaining accurate records.
  • Handling AR collections and ensuring timely payments from clients.
  • Assisting with year-end activities and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Generating and reviewing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining customer accounts.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Ensuring that all AR transactions are recorded in the company's financial system in a timely manner.
  • Handling inquiries from clients regarding payment status, billing issues, or discrepancies.

    • Requirements :

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and clients.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with AR software is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
