Description
Responsibilities :
- Ability to work directly with hourly shipping employees to resolve concerns
- Direct receiving for couriers
- Setting up deliveries / orders for trailers and completing all necessary paperwork corresponding with the loads
- Direct communication with other Atlantic sites, Sales Reps and other Company contacts and demonstrates the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to changing circumstances
- Operating and maintaining system for setting up and maintaining records of orders
- Monitoring general activities in the shipping department
- Ensuring outside carriers are available for deliveries
- Constant communication between departments when stock is received
- Call customers to ensure we they are updated on stock (time and date of delivery)
