Advantages
Long-Term Stability: Secure 18-month contract with potential for extension.

Impactful Work: Directly contribute to the safety and efficiency of provincial first responder communications.

Professional Growth: Lead a large-scale, province-wide technology rollout.

Travel Opportunities: Explore various regions across Ontario with travel expenses reimbursed.

Competitive Environment: Work within a specialized, high-stakes 24x7 critical operations sector.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute province-wide training strategies and individualized plans for regional Communications Centres (CACCs), ensuring alignment with project timelines and stakeholder needs.

Instructional Delivery: Deliver high-quality instruction, interactive demonstrations, and e-learning modules to paramedics, dispatchers, and other key emergency service stakeholders.

Content Development: Design, create, and maintain training documentation, manuals, and multimedia materials by integrating vendor content with internal operational processes.

Performance Evaluation: Monitor and document participant performance, administer practical examinations, and provide recommendations for remedial training or certification.

Technical Support & Testing: Provide application-specific training for radio and telecom systems and support provincial network coverage and console testing.

Leadership & Coordination: Provide technical direction and supervision to students and resource staff, ensuring work assignments and programming timelines are met.

Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with Training Leads and management to report progress, identify risks, and ensure consistent communication across all project tiers.

Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Trainer, specifically developing and delivering large-scale/nation-wide training strategies.

Domain Expertise: Proven experience with Public Safety Radio Networks (PSRN), telecom systems, or dispatch systems.

Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with the land ambulance sector, emergency health services, or first responder environments (Police, Fire, EMS).

Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Radio/Telephone systems, GIS, spatial concepts, and Automated Vehicle Locators (AVL).

Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex training schedules and project plans within a large team.

Communication: Exceptional presentation and verbal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
