  • Ensure consistency in terminology and formatting across all specification documentation.
  • Work with the preferred Body Builders to optimize functional specifications in each industry, giving us a competitive advantage while following best practices in technical writing.
  • Regularly update specifications in line with product changes, new models, industry regulations and corporate spec change orders from Peterbilt.

  • Review and edit existing specifications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness, incorporating feedback from technical experts and body upfitters.
  • Assemble clear and concise Peterbilt specifications including user manuals for end users, and preventive service guides for various Peterbilt truck models from Truck upfitters documentation and Peterbilt’s library, ensuring adherence to industry standards and MTO regulations.
  • Create charts, diagrams, and other visual aids to enhance training and the understanding of technical specifications and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Peterbilt Engineers, district Sales Managers, and the sales team to gather accurate information about heavy truck specifications and features in the various industries.
