Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, results-driven Team Lead, Sales to join our growing team. You will oversee a team of Sales Brokers and be responsible for their growth and performance.

Key Accountabilities
- Closely work with stakeholders, peers and brokers. Collaborate to meet or exceed KPIs while maintaining a unified corporate philosophy.
- Proactively engage in ongoing coaching and training of tenured and new brokers.
- Actively assist brokers with their sales pipelines to ensure conversion efforts are optimized.
- Actively manage the team to ensure compliance to phone, transfer and internal workflow SLAs.
- Effectively deliver regular quality feedback that drives individual results and increases engagement in formal and informal settings.
- Participate in recruiting by conducting candidate interviews. (supported by our HR team)
- Respond verbally and in writing to escalations, ensuring mutually agreeable outcomes for the client, insurer and brokerage whenever possible.
- Satisfy QA requirements, deliver QA results and provide feedback to improve call quality, consumer experience and outcomes on an ongoing basis (coach up to do better)
- Work with UW to ensure file documentation and risk underwriting aligns with brokerage standards.
- Work with leadership to implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Lead and support sales campaigns and initiatives as designed by the leadership team.
- Satisfy operational responsibilities as needed, including liaising with 3rd party technology vendors and cross-functional teams within our organization.
- Supports the team manager and performs management duties when the manager is absent or out of the office.
Required Qualifications
RIBO licensed
1-2 years in a Sales management / enablement environment
Proven experience increasing sales targets / metrics
Strong commitment to teamwork
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proven sales ability
Exceptional underwriting and risk assessment skills
A results-oriented professional with a strong work ethic
An unwavering commitment to delivering professionalism and expertise to our clients
Must be organized, able to multi-task and have excellent communication skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office products such as Word and Excel
