Join Array to make a mark on our business and grow your career.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Materials and Process Planning Manager, we have a newly created opportunity for a Process Planner Team Lead. You will assign and supervise the work of the team and take ownership of reviewing and confirming Bills of Materials (BOMs) from Design and Development to ensure they align with manufacturing processes. Acting as a critical lead resource, you will manage plan releases for short and long-lead time purchases, develop procedures for plan templates, reconcile design files, and oversee updates based on change control triggers. You will collaborate cross-functionally throughout the production order lifecycle, participating in pre-production meetings, communicating BOM changes, and preparing reports.

What's in it for you

Innovation. You will play a crucial role in shaping high-quality retail displays by optimizing workflows and ensuring seamless production processes. Working at the intersection of design and manufacturing, you will help bring concepts to life while improving efficiency through BOM management and production planning.

Autonomy and influence. You will be able to help define and shape your role and accountabilities. You will collaborate closely with Design Engineering, Procurement, Plant Controllers, and Inventory teams, giving you broad exposure and influence over key production decisions. As a key player in ensuring manufacturing readiness, you will have the autonomy to drive process improvements and bring forward changes in production planning.

Professional development. You will receive training in our production processes while honing your scheduling, capacity planning, and data-driven decision-making skills. This role provides a pathway for career advancement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will focus on :

  • Change control. You will assess the impact of BOM changes on production, cost, inventory, and procurement. You will update process plans, order plans, and item master files with BOM changes. You will communicate changes to ensure accurate manufacturing execution.
  • Pre-production planning. You will participate in cross-functional planning meetings to align on project scope, timelines, and strategies. You will collaborate with Materials and Production Planning Managers to define manufacturing approaches. You will review and coordinate demand forecasts to support material and capacity planning.
  • Team supervision. You will guide and support planners in creating master files and plans. You will audit files for accuracy and compliance. You will manage tasks and timelines in alignment with project plans.
  • KPI Analysis. You will generate reports to track KPI performance. You will support and implement initiatives to improve KPIs. You will develop procedures and practices to benchmark and enhance KPI metrics.

You have :

  • The experience. You have worked in a large-volume manufacturing environment, planning orders and jobs for multiple departments and navigating the supply chain. You have experience calculating the time needed based on insightful needs analysis of the scope of projects and long lead times. You have the business acumen and industry experience to understand, interpret and apply business processes and practices used by mixed-mode manufacturers to forecast production orders and effectively manage plans, resources and communications. You have strong project management skills and can adapt to shifting priorities to meet challenges and tight deadlines.
  • The technical skills. You can read, interpret, update, and manage Bills of Materials and other planning documents. You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and use a database tool to analyze and report on KPI performance. You are process-oriented and highly attentive to detail.
