Chinook School Division is seeking qualified teachers available for substitute teaching in schools throughout our division. The Chinook School Division is proud to serve southwest Saskatchewan's ~6,200 students with collegial, student centered teachers and support staff. Our team operates 63 schools - 31 Public and 32 Hutterian, located from the Cypress Hills, to the South Saskatchewan River, through the City of Swift Current, on to Hodgeville, and down to the Grasslands National Park. Desired Qualifications : Sask. Professional “A” or Standard “A” Teaching Certificate; Successful experience as a classroom teacher in Saskatchewan; Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom; A willingness to be part of a collaborative educational team; An interest in serving multiple schools; and Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, professionals and community service agencies. Successful applicants must agree to a criminal records check including a vulnerable sector search.
