About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Unit team.
As a Registered Nurse at WDHS you will bring strong clinical capabilities with a belief in exceptional patient care. The Surgical Unit presents an opportunity for surgical nursing experience in both short stay and same day surgery, acute care and surgical patients. The Surgical Unit provides a wide range of procedures such as endoscopy, urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, bariatric surgery, ENT and general surgery.
We have a 32 bed Surgical Unit with staff demonstrating a strong commitment to upholding patient centred care.
You will bring
- Exceptional and demonstrated decision making skills consistent with experience is essential.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective contemporary nursing practices.
- High levels of energy.
- AHPRA Registration.
