Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) specialized in Medical Surgical units to join our amazing team working in Hamilton Area Hospitals. We’re ready when you are!

Under the direction of the facility charge nurse, you will provide care according to the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Standards of Practice of Carecor and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients.

Job Qualification

  • Baccalaureate Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 300 hours or 6-months of post clinical experience in a medical-surgical acute care setting within the past two (2) years.
  • 2 valid references from supervisor, director, educator, preceptor, charge nurse from current or past relevant medical / surgical acute care roles.
  • Proof of current immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, polio, hepatitis b, COVID vaccines.
  • Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or a negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years.
  • Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider).
  • Current N95 Mask Fit Test.
  • Willing to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire.

Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
