• Assist in the preparation and execution of project schedules.

• Develop a thorough understanding of all contract drawings, specifications, addenda, RFIs, and project documentation.

• Lead job site setup and start-up, including safety postings, site logistics, field office layout, temporary utilities, staging areas, equipment, and manpower.

• Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring project deliverables are met through effective coordination of labour, materials, and equipment.

• Build productive working relationships with subcontractors and foster a culture where quality, accountability, and problem-solving are prioritized.

• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet critical path timelines.

• Maintain a safe job site and ensure compliance with all applicable OHS regulations and legislative requirements.

• Enforce construction standards, quality control, and best practices on-site.

• Prepare and submit daily site reports to the Project Manager.

• Identify, report, and discuss work issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Prepare and communicate RFIs with the Project Manager, architects, engineers, and consultants.

• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders.

• Perform other duties as required to support project success.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-based environment.

What you must have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in the residential and/or commercial construction industry.

• Experience with multi-family, commercial, and single-family home construction.

• Journeyman/Journeywoman Carpenter certification or equivalent practical experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices and standards.

• Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications.

• Familiarity with current construction technologies and digital tools.

• Desire to contribute to a young, innovative, and entrepreneurial management team.

• Ability to manage projects across the full construction lifecycle—from estimating and design through procurement and project closeout.

Salary/Rate Range: $52.00 - $60.00 hourly
