Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for University Human Resources.
Key Duties
- Creates, manages, and maintains job postings via Applicant Tracking System.
- Serves as the liaison between management, staff, and applicants regarding employment policies, practices, and procedures.
- Provides guidance and direction to hiring managers and administrative staff in the handling of staffing transactions, including process and timing, documentation, approval, implementation, and communication.
- Screens and evaluates candidates; checking references; and making recommendations to hiring authorities in accordance with relevant University policies and collective bargaining agreements.
- Provides customer service to job seekers via phone and e-mail regarding the employment process and system.
- Strives to continuously offer excellence in service with the goal to make Rutgers University an employer of choice.
- Researches system questions / issues, documents and determines solutions, and provides administrative support to the Talent Acquisition and Staffing team.
