Description

Located out of our Calgary office, the individual in the role will report to the Credit Manager and become contributing member of the Credit Team. Summer Student, Credit will be responsible for various reporting and analytical tasks, including assessing creditworthiness of Inter Pipeline’s Customers and establishing appropriate credit limits, in accordance with Inter Pipeline’s Credit Management Policy.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Perform credit reviews on new and existing Inter Pipeline customers utilizing the latest financial statements, recommending credit limits in accordance with Inter Pipeline’s Credit Management Policy
• Perform detailed credit analysis, monitor corporate credit exposures and maintaining Inter Pipeline’s credit database, in accordance with Inter Pipeline’s Credit Procedures
• Prepare various credit reports to be provided to the Credit Manager and the Risk Management Committee
• Assing in managing all credit documentation including parental guarantees, letters of credit and confidentiality agreements
• Monitor market trends, industry developments and credit agency metrics
• Assist with other credit related duties and projects, as required

Hours

Monday - Friday, on-site, 40 hours a week

This is either an 8-month or 4-month opportunity starting on May 1, 2025. Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to 8-month term.
