Recruit4staff are representing a well-established metal fabrication and manufacturing business in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in Widnes

Job Details:

Pay: £16.27 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm, half day Friday
Duration: Temp to Perm
Benefits: Permanent position available with a generous holiday allowance

Job Role: As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out MIG welding and fabrication work within a busy manufacturing environment. The Fabricator Welder will work from engineering drawings and written instructions to manufacture a range of enclosures, guards and load-bearing structures. Duties will also include operating fabrication equipment and carrying out repair work on returned products. This Fabricator Welder role offers the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
MIG welding experience
Fabrication experience working with plate, box sections and structural steel

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

City & Guilds Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding, NVQ or equivalent qualification
Experience using press brakes, pillar drills and manual propane cutters
Previous experience within a heavy fabrication environment

Additional Information
