Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Able to perform full setups of all profiles of Heavy Duty Roll Former Machines (mills) with no assistance.
  • Able to operate all Roll Former Machines (mills) without any supervision.
  • Operator must be a leader to help others to operate other mills in the Plant.
  • Read vernier caliper, confirm drawing specifics are accurate and able to use measuring tape.
  • Able to operate Roll Former Machine to produce excellent work in both quality, quantity to meet with no assistance and be able to meet company targets.
  • Adhere to all Life Savings Rules, including Lock out tag / out (LOTO), Machine guarding, / Bypassing safety controls, powered industrials Truck (PIT) safety protocols; OHSA, Safety Policies.
  • Adhere and follow to all other Atkore policies, such as harassment, free workplace of Drug and alcohol, Respect and Harassment, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Five () years of Roll Former Machine setups experience is required.
  • Experience doing full setups on Roll Forming machines necessary.
  • Five years of manufacturing and fabrication experience is required.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to stand on their feet for the duration of the workday.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Eager and interested in learning continuously in manufacturing environment.
  • Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on its own.
  • Strong oral and written skills in the English language.
  • Ability to work both as a member of a team, a team leader or as an individual contributor.
