Our client is sourcing for a Assistant Controller for a 12 month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Review and record journal entries required to reflect the monthly activity

Preparation of paperwork supporting the monthly close process and month end balances

Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained

Preparation of monthly financial statements

Maintenance of the Cost Accounting process and procedures

Financial Analysis of the results, developing trends and processes to help improve the profitability of the Company

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations

Accurate and timely production of all financial information

Oversight and supervision of accounting department

About You

CPA Designation

5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis

Minimum 1-2 years at the Manager level

Working within a manufacturing environment is mandatory.

Prior experience with inventory and cost accounting.

Experience with multi-currency bookkeeping, multiple sets of books, transfer pricing, tax analysis and currency gain / loss.
