JOB SUMMARY :
Under the direct supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and the supervision of the District Principal - Learning Support Services, the Speech-Language Assistant (SLA) provides speech and / or language therapy practice and support for students. This is a district itinerant position.
POSITION : TEMPORARY until June 25, 2026
LOCATION : Cranbrook
HOURS OF WORK : 35 hrs / week- when school is in session for students.
WAGE RATE : As per CUPE Local 4165 Agreement $29.48
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- Successful completion of a two-year program in the Speech and Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Minimum of 180 hours of supervised practicum by an accredited institute.
- Computer and augmentative communication technology skills.
- Driver’s License.
