Job descriptionPosition : Space PlannerTenure : On-GoingLocation : Toronto, ON (Hybrid)Position OverviewOur client, one of North America’s largest home retailers is looking for a bright, enthusiastic, Space Planner to join their dynamic team!What You Will Be Doing : Develop and manage planning and analysis toolsSupport Space Planning Team with macros and VBA / SQL scriptwriting in Excel, Access and JDAUpload data into JDA and download reports from SAPIdentify opportunities for improvement in processes and proceduresLiaising closely with the merchandising team / departmentProvide merchandise reporting and analysis for various initiatives and processesUse JDA space planning software to create plan-o-gramsCreating computer blueprints for use by the store merchandiserUsing your organizational and analytical skills to strategically place products to maximize salesWhom We’re Looking For : Strong Excel skillsStrong analytical skills & the ability to demonstrate themUnderstand the merchandising function in business operationsMerchandising experience is an asset – especially in a corporate retail office environmentRetail experience is an assetExperience with JDA or working with plan-o-gramsOrganizational skillsAttention to detailJob Type : Full-timeExperience : Space planning : 1 year (required)JDA software : 1 year (required)Creating planogram : 1 year (required)
