- Assist in resolving any disputes regarding SORs / APPs by referring to the Data Sourcing Committee, as needed.
- Develop standardized and ad-hoc reporting to communicate progress, trends, and insights to business partners and management.
- Analyze lineage and control documentation for critical data elements to assist in investigating SORs / APPs.
- Coordinate the monthly Data Sourcing Committee and act as delegate to the co-chair as needed.
- Regularly present material and findings to management and stakeholders.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of RBC’s tools and systems.
- Use Collibra to log, record, and maintain SORs / APPs for critical data elements.
- Propose process changes / improvement to address identified gaps or inconsistencies in data, processes and / or controls.
- Collaborate closely, and maintain working relationships, with the SDMO Lineage team, SDMO Risk and Controls team, SDMO Metadata team, Report Owners, Data Management Offices, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Work with the Chief Data Office and other Data Management Offices to support the standards and best practices to improve data quality, participating in initiatives to raise awareness and drive improved data quality across the organization (e.g. Data Working Groups, Data Literacy projects).
