We have an opening for a Purchaser at our Winnipeg Plumbing branch.
What you will do :
- Maintaining and balancing stock using Solar Eclipse (ERP) replenishment system within company guidelines
- Analyzing trends in vendor pricing and sales activity to determine appropriate supplier (from an approved list) and correct timing of purchases using best practices
- Ordering non-stock products as required
- Resolving issues related to sales orders, transfers and purchase orders
- Tracing requests for product with supplier
- Reconciling physical on hand quantities through inventory adjustments
- Reviewing inventory reports to return non-turning products to vendors
- Working with management and sales staff to reduce clearance product
- Making necessary adjustments to ensure proper inventory levels through product maintenance
- Transferring required inventory from other branches with surplus
- Participate in physical inventory counts
- Performing other duties as assigned
