Staff accommodation available on site Housing bonus for those with their own accommodation (additional $2 / hour) Free nights at any of our hotels + discounts for friends & family Employee purchase program so you can get sweet deals on everything from electronics to linens Live your Best Life fund (we'll help pay for courses that'll make your life better, whether or not they're related to your role with us) Nail it performing a variety of maintenance and construction tasks including carpentry, drywall, HVAC PM, painting, and minor plumbing Addressing guest needs / requests, like electronic equipment, sink and toilet plumbing, light bulb changes and entry locks access Work with our IT team to ensure that all systems are maintained and functioning accordingly Work with management team to perform a variety of preventive maintenance tasks, including winterization of buildings, painting of rooms and hallways, power washing of exterior, steam cleaning of carpets, upgrading of plumbing, curb repairs, fence repairs and finishing, furniture maintenance and upkeep Keep us safe by following and implementing WCB standards and championing our SWPs and internal safety program Assist in maintaining gardens, landscaping, and building exteriors Keep us on track by scheduling quarterly, bi‑annual, and yearly PM work with partnering contractors as per our service agreements 1 year experience in maintenance or construction (is an asset) The ability to work both independently and in a team setting First aid certification (an asset) A general understanding of IT hardware and software An understanding of major equipment, minor plumbing, electrical and HVAC or the willingness to learn High level problem solving Strong communication skills General knowledge of SWP and safety standards
