Job description

Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist II (SLP) for a multi-site position across Westlock Community Health Services, Westlock Healthcare Centre, and Westlock Continuing Care. You will provide assessment, consultation, intervention, and education services independently and within an interdisciplinary team. Care is evidence-informed, client-centered, and focused on functional goals and participation outcomes. This role offers broad clinical scope, strong autonomy, and involvement in key decision-making. You will build meaningful relationships, manage diverse cases from acute to chronic care, and utilize you critical thinking and organizational skills. Smaller team sizes foster close collaboration and a supportive, cohesive care environment. Westlock is located on Treaty 6 territory and Métis lands and draws people to its balance of affordability, strong community connections, and high quality of life—benefits that can be harder to find in larger urban centres. With minimal commute times, residents can enjoy a comfortable lifestyle in a welcoming, close-knit community where neighbours know and support one another. Residents also have easy access to outdoor recreation, including nearby lakes, trails, camping, and year-round activities like fishing and snowmobiling. Located about an hour from Edmonton, Westlock combines the advantages of rural living with convenient access to major amenities, shopping, and services—making it an ideal place for individuals and families who value space, community, and quality of life. This position may qualify for a recruitment incentive of up to $60,000, based on the length of their Return for Service. For full details, visit
