Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Speech-Language Pathologist works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team; provides school-based services for students, staff, and parents; uses an educational model of service delivery to conduct assessments; provides direct and indirect interventions and develops programs; liaises with community agencies and conducts in-service sessions for Board Staff.

QUALIFICATIONS : A Master’s Degree (Speech - Language Pathology); be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech - Language Pathologists of Ontario; and possess a high level of interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills.

The recruitment process requires a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons.
