AMD together we advance THE ROLE : The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the threat model, security verification plan of new and existing features for AMD’s Data Accelerator IP SS, resulting in no bugs, holes in the final design.

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Review microarchitectural specifications to analyze hardware IP for potential security weaknesses.
Develop a threat model that includes the security scope, potential vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and risk mitigation strategies based on AMD’s state-of-the-art security technologies.
Develop and implement security verification test plan and define security coverage / sign-off criteria. Participate in RTL and firmware security reviews / audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security dependencies and any missed threats / vulnerabilities. Debug test failures to determine the root cause;
work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects and correct any test issues Review functional and code coverage metrics modify or add tests or constrain random tests to meet the coverage requirements PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Strong experience in RTL design and / or verification.
Experience in threat modeling techniques and assessing hardware bugs for security. Ability to interpret and analyze microarchitectural specifications.
Familiarity with computer architecture, virtualization, memory management, and I / O concepts. Experience with AMD SNP security, Intel TDX, or Arm TrustZone is an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Proficient in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools Proficient in using UVM testbenches and working in Linux and Windows environments Automating workflows in a distributed compute environment.
