The Position :

Neelands Group Limited is searching for a Sheet Metal Worker (308A) (Term 1 - Term 5) Apprentice to join our team at the Burlington Ontario location. This is a regular full-time union position with a full union compensation package. Reporting to the Senior HVAC Manager the Apprentice will work closely with the team on installation of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities :

• Assist Journeyman to measure mark dimensions and lay out material to be installed on projects according to specifications
• Fasten joints and seams in sheet metal with TDC Cleats bolts and welded joints
• Ensure that efficiency is maximized while installing HVAC systems while in fast-paced environment
• Ensure making safety a priority on the job during all activities including while using tools installing and fabricating duct systems
• Good housekeeping and organization
• Work well independently and in a team environment
