Base Salary : 75K- 90K base

Our client is a well-established Manufacturer and supplier to the construction industry for high rise and low rise construction and have a job open for Dispatch Manager to ensure all equipment and parts are sequenced, loaded and delivered JIT to the construction sites in Ontario under the Ontario law, safety and other regulatory requirements as laid out by the city and the province. Dispatch , shipping and transportation experience of Metal fabrication / building products / heavy equipment to the construction sites is a MUST have. Experience of Dispatching & Shipping to the construction sites under the Ontario Law & Regulatory Compliance requirements is a MUST ( no exceptions ) . Familiarity with Sheet metal / Fabrication / HVAC / Ducts / Mechanical Building products / large machine parts helps. This role requires 5 days on site.
Dispatch Manager – Construction Sites is a hands-on role and is fully responsible to ensure all machine parts / fabricated products / building products are loaded and transported to the construction sites under the Ontario Safety, Regulatory & compliance laws as laid out for the construction industry. This includes transportation and shipping to construction sites in the city and the surrounding areas and will require good knowledge of truck transportation, heavy load weight requirements, documentation experience. This is a hands-on role and may require physical work in packaging and loading. Forklift driving / working with other material handling equipment helps.
Dispatch Manager – Construction Sites will have minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in shipping / trucking / distribution / transportation to construction sites within Ontario, have strong knolwdge of city and municipal laws for transportation of large bulky construction equipment, forklift / other material handling equipment / loading equipment experience, sequencing the load for installation and completing all documentation. You must be able to work 5 days on site in Pickering – Ajax - Oshawa area .Working with construction, sheet metal, metal is an asset . Excellent English communication skills are a MUST.
