Job descriptionPrior experience as a Sheet Metal TIG Welder or similar role Proficient in TIG welding techniques and experience working with sheet metal Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications Knowledge of different metal types and their welding properties Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality welds Experience with welding equipment and tools Good communication and teamwork skills Completion of a welding certification program or equivalent High school diploma or equivalent education required Additional certifications or training in TIG welding and sheet metal fabrication is a plus

A manufacturing company specializing in sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal TIG Welder to join our team. As a Sheet Metal TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating sheet metal components according to blueprints and specifications. Attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of TIG welding techniques are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment to weld and fabricate sheet metal components
- Perform welds on various types of metal, such as stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel
- Ensure welds are of high quality, free from defects, and meet specified requirements
- Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery of products
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
