T&T Power Group is an industrial engine-driven equipment sales and service company. We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the opening of the Manager position. This is a leadership position with responsibilities that support our business nationwide. The successful candidate will be expected to grasp the complexities of the job and demonstrate the ability to successfully handle many disparate responsibilities in a very short time.

Your key responsibilities will be :

  • Model the way for safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours in support of T&T Power Group Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
  • Generally, work with team members to ensure efficient and effective coordination of technicians, parts and deficiencies and customer communications
  • Take full responsibility for department P&L
  • Provide excellent customer service as key contact for field service requirements and work orders to maximize the productivity of field service operations
  • Promote customer satisfaction, follow up on repairs and collaborate with other departments to deliver high-level service
  • Train and coach team members to meet and exceed customer and business expectations by administering performance evaluations
  • Provide direction on the financial implications of work orders including customer pay, warranties, claims, policies and return visits
  • Create quotes and review and prepare invoices for internal and external customers
  • Encourage continuous improvement for field operations through regularly scheduled meetings and associated training
  • Assist the National Service Manager with the management of fixed assets and preparation for capital expenditures
  • Manage maintenance on the fleet of field service trucks
  • Manage employees at off-site locations
  • Work with a sense of urgency and foster team efforts to encourage growth

Requirements :

  • We cannot stress enough that strong computer aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new software programs and procedures is a critical and non-negotiable skill required for this job!
  • Comfort in a fast-paced and constantly changing working environment
  • Ability to produce consistent quality work under pressure
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to identify and solve problems through meticulous planning and careful execution with little to no oversight or direction
  • Great attention to detail
  • Team player with excellent written / verbal communication skills (English)
  • Strong consideration will be given to individuals with experience in any / all of the following areas :
  • Management & Leadership
  • Health and safety
  • Automotive, mechanical, or electrical parts
  • Power generation
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience is an asset
