You have a good knowledge of CATIA V5 (preferably R19) and Enovia. You have excellent knowledge of aircraft structure. You are comfortable in questioning aircraft structure repairs. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Description
Job Title - In-Service Support – Design Engineer
Location – Mirabel (hybrid 3 – days a week)
Job description :
As a part of a specialized group within the engineering team, you will be supporting a commercial aircraft program in the capacity of Design Engineer specialist for In-service support.
Key responsibilities :
- Assess the structural damage to the aircraft.
- Respond to aircraft grounded (AOG) situations and customer engineering requests.
- Investigate the cause of in-service problems, resolve source of failures and find effective and innovative solutions.
- Propose repair solutions that align with sector regulations and customer requirements.
- Work in close collaboration with the stress department and other specialists such Aero, Materials & Processes.
- Prepare design reports in English for certification purposes.
- Design generic repairs for metallic and composite structures.
- Participate in the design and support of structural modifications.
