Stigan Media is a reputable digital marketing agency based in Vancouver, BC. Our SEO team is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Junior SEO Specialist to join us. If you’re passionate about data, optimizing websites, and driving results for clients across various industries, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive website audits using SEMrush and gather insights through Screaming Frog.
- Familiarity with WordPress, including basic content editing and SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast, Rank Math).
- Add alt attributes to images for accessibility and SEO purposes.
- Understanding of best practices for creating meta titles and meta descriptions in SEO.
- Implement internal linking strategies to improve website navigation and SEO.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and / or Google Search Console to monitor and report on website performance.
- Perform GMB (Google My Business) optimization and regular updates.
- Research and identify new keyword opportunities for current client categories.
- Find and fix broken links on client websites.
- Collect and organize contacts for link-building campaigns.
- Submit businesses to directories and listings for local SEO benefits.
- Create template-based pages aligned with website architecture and SEO best practices.
