Job description

Meet Benevity

Benevity is the way the world does good, providing companies (and their employees) with technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and more!

Benevity is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help advance our mission of creating a positive impact globally. As a Product Manager at Benevity, you’ll refine your skills while working on impactful products that enable leading companies to engage their employees and customers in meaningful ways. You will lead our User Management product strategy and roadmap within our global enterprise SaaS platform, collaborating closely with design and engineering teams in an outcome-driven environment. This role requires a deep understanding of identity management, security protocols, regulatory compliance, and the unique challenges of authentication and authorization in a B2B SaaS environment. Leveraging scalable technology investments, you will thrive in a culture driven by our core value of "We-are-We."

We welcome experienced candidates from diverse backgrounds who bring unique perspectives and a passion for social impact. If you’re excited to contribute to a culture of goodness and make a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll do :

  • Define product vision and strategy with a creative understanding of stakeholder and client needs
  • Lead our user management team in delivering a global authentication and authorization solution focused on ecosystem single sign-on (SSO)
  • Manage your products throughout their lifecycle, from understanding market requirements to prioritizing features
  • Collaborate with design and engineering partners to deliver successful products
  • Engage and interact with key clients, partners, and causes to understand their problems and convert those into new opportunities
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and convert insights into new opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to integrate partner capabilities across Benevity ecosystem and product lines
  • Use discovery, experimentation, and analytics to bring impactful features to market
  • Represent your product with excellence both inside and outside Benevity
  • Be passionate about the product and about impeccable execution

What you’ll bring :

  • 5+ years of senior product management experience, ideally in SaaS, with at least 3 years focused on user authentication, authorization, or identity management solutions
  • Experience leading product teams focused on one or more of the following areas :
  • User Management
  • User Authentication & Authorization
  • Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM)
  • B2B IAM
  • Ecosystem Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Okta or Auth0 authentication solutions
  • Workflow automations
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization technologies and standards (e.g. OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, MFA) and familiarity with IAM solutions like Okta, Auth0, or custom-build solutions
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDRP, HIPAA, SOC 2, and their implications for authentication and data privacy
  • Prior product management experience in a technical environment is an asset
  • Strong team collaboration skills, including listening, learning, participating, and communicating proactively
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes
  • Experience working with remote teams is a plus; some travel may be required
  • Discover your purpose at work
