With all the information you have found, you collaborate with members of the sales and planning teams to gather and share insights that will help build even more accurate forecasts. Then, taking into account the information provided by the planning team, you develop a strategy to include certain factors to consider for items in specific locations and update the data. The day ends with documenting useful information and preparing data or reports that will set the stage for a successful start to your next workday.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze variances between actual sales and forecasts (forecast accuracy) to understand the variables affecting demand and to be able to explain them at monthly S&OP meetings;
  • Assist in the establishment of minimum-maximum inventory, inventory turns, service level and overstock targets to meet corporate standards in all Techo-Bloc distribution centers & establish a production capacity plan, including production hours and product mix by plant;
  • Identify and help resolve conflicts related to supply, demand and capacity availability propose product life cycles, such as forecasts for new products and identification of products that should be discontinued.
