Reporting to the Supervising Engineer, Telecommunications Network Planning & Engineering, this position will be primarily responsible for activities related to the capital maintenance program, O&M support, and regulatory compliance associated with ATCO Electric's telecommunications network.
Responsibilities :
Capital Maintenance Program Support :
- Work with stakeholders to prepare and maintain a categorized and prioritized list of candidate projects to address issues in the telecom network involving primarily asset end-of-life and modernization, and network capacity and reliability improvement.
- For each candidate project, compile and maintain data on the need / problem to be addressed, solution scope and estimated cost.
- Work with Asset Management to build annual programs based on these projects and communicate the resulting programs to stakeholders and adjust those programs as needs change.
- Assist Project Managers with understanding project scope and interdependencies at project kickoff.
- Respond promptly to IR requests during GTA-related regulatory hearings.
