About the Opportunity
As a Senior Municipal Engineer, you will focus on planning, design and management of various infrastructure projects including drainage, wastewater, and drinking water projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and planning of municipal infrastructure including land drainage, wastewater, and drinking water projects.
- Ensure adherence to design standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee and manage construction administration of projects to ensure works are completed in accordance with contract documents, on time, and on budget
- Monitor third-party work and billing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervision and mentorship of junior team members.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Leadership and preparation of proposals to secure new assignments
- Occasional travel such as for business development, client meetings, and / or site / construction milestone reviews.
