OVERVIEW
As the Senior Manager, Creative + Digital Art Direction, you will be the driving force behind the Obakki brand identity, elevating our visual storytelling across all touchpoints. This role combines creative leadership with hands-on design execution, focusing on driving brand consistency and delivering engaging content across all digital channels. This role reports into the Founder / Creative Director and will lead a team of in-house and freelance creatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure cohesive, on-brand visual storytelling across all digital platforms, including Obakki.com, social media, paid ads and email marketing
- Develop and execute digital-first creative strategies and visual concepts that align with brand values and drive growth
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including the Founder / Creative Director and Head of Marketing, to define and execute creative strategies that drive engagement and conversions while ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Lead ecommerce and campaign photoshoots, from photographer management to art direction and final image selection
- Oversee the creation of all digital content, including creative approvals and feedback. Ability to create content is a plus!
- Manage creative project timelines and resources, ensuring timely delivery of all creative assets, in alignment with the marketing calendar
- Collaborate with the marketing and ecommerce teams to make data-driven recommendations for optimized performance of creative assets
- Lead and mentor a small team of designers and photographers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging digital design practices, and innovative technologies, integrating them into our brand efforts
