Hiring Requirements :

As a Sanitation Operator at Bimbo Canada, you will :

• Clean and sanitize a variety of complex plant equipment, tools, machines and production work area; ensuring the highest level of cleanliness
• Operate plant machines, sanitation equipment and tools (ex : floor scraper, power wash, ranches, steamers and other) to perform cleaning activities as required
• Operate, remove, and install conveyors for cleaning and sanitizing
• Inspect equipment for issues and report to shift supervisor
• Read and apply instructions identified on the labels of products used for sanitation process
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Actively participate in, and report all Health & Safety / Quality issues to Shift Supervisor / QA
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions :   The smell in our facilities is like fresh baked bread and our facilities are clean and safe. Production line work is performed indoors in a warm (at times hot), sanitary, and well-ventilated conditions. Some operators work near noisy machinery and / or near the equipment that generates heat or humidity. Production line is highly automated. All workers must follow safe work practices and wear protective equipment.
