POSITION OVERVIEW / RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client seeks an Outside Sales Engineer to join the Canadian subsidiary. This person will be responsible for business development and key account management in industries including but not limited to cement, bulk material handling, steel, automotive assembly, amusement parks, food production, and heavy manufacturing applications.
General Responsibilities :
- Develop, execute, and track progress of an organized sales plan for the defined region that employs a direct sales approach and targets OEMs as well as End-Users
- Visit Customers and Prospects in person and conduct virtual meetings as needed to initiate, develop, strengthen, and protect Customer relationships that result in consistent flow of opportunities to sales pipeline.
- Collect and consolidate necessary project details from Customers and work directly with Inside Sales to ensure timely quote development, order processing, and goods delivery.
- Liaison with Product Management & Customer to ensure all project-relevant technical data are clear and understood.
- Track progress of all open projects and drive to successful delivery of product while ensuring Customer satisfaction.
- Protect existing business and expand Customer base with focus on building long-term relationships.
- Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and other industry events to present company.
