The Event Sales employee is responsible for driving revenue for White Table Catering and the Hangar Venue through various channels, utilizing both existing and new leads. This role involves meeting sales targets, building key relationships, and staying informed about customer and industry trends. Sales development must align with maintaining high customer service standards to ensure repeat business and strong referrals.
Core Duties :
Consistently achieve sales targets in line with company goals.
Collaborate on booking strategies that promote revenue growth while ensuring top-quality execution.
Stay updated on industry trends to keep company offerings competitive and innovative.
Propose ideas to enhance profitability and sales (e.g., package structures, unique offerings).
Build and maintain key personal, corporate, and industry relationships.
Understand and cater to the unique needs of White Table and The Hangar Venue customers.
Ensure contracts are competitive and comprehensive, covering all necessary details for event success.
Manage sales inquiries, prepare quotations, and assign closed contracts to Event Specialists.
Represent the company in key meetings and proposals, effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Enforce best practices based on company policies (e.g., pricing, labor charges).
Attend events as needed to build and maintain client relationships.
Provide support and troubleshooting to ensure overall event success.
Requirements :
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in industry software (e.g., Nowsta, Caterease).
Solution-oriented and creative thinker.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in catering and event planning.
Ability to conduct market research.
Ability to build rapport with prospective clients.
Compensation :
This role offers a base rate along with Sales Commissions
