Job description

Position : Field Coordinator

Overview :

The Field Coordinator supports value and volume growth for Coca-Cola Bottling Services (CCBS) and its customers by effectively coordinating sales activities in the field. This role involves close collaboration with the sales team to implement sales strategies, achieve targets, and ensure alignment between CCBS and customer objectives. By leveraging retail execution data, the Field Coordinator drives availability, execution, and compliance with quality and quantity plans as approved by the commercial department for the assigned geographic area.

This role requires strict adherence to company policies, processes, and standards, along with a commitment to fostering a high-performance sales environment.

Main Responsibilities

The Field Coordinators responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Sales Growth & Coordination

  • Support the achievement of qualitative and quantitative sales targets.
  • Coordinate daily activities and routes of the sales team to maximize efficiency and coverage.
  • Ensure the distribution of CCBS assortments to all potential and prestige customers, driving area growth.
  • Track and ensure adherence to daily routines and company guidelines by the sales team.

Execution & Compliance

  • Oversee the placement of promotional materials at points of sale, ensuring visibility and compliance with marketing standards.
  • Collect, update, and report all required documentation as per company procedures.
  • Monitor company assets within the sales team to ensure profitability and longevity.
  • Ensure regional outlets receive superior service from the sales force and wholesalers.
  • Ensure compliance with existing and new operational standards and guidelines.
  • Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to influence decision-making positively.
  • Manage and supervise the sales team, fostering a collaborative and motivating environment.
  • Identify and address training and development needs for team members.
  • Provide leadership, set challenging objectives, and monitor the teams performance.
  • Reporting & Oversight

  • Monitor and report distributor performance to ensure adherence to CCBS guidelines.
  • Organize and participate in periodic sales meetings to review goals and performance.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the direct manager on team and territory performance.
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the direct manager.
  • Job Requirements

    Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's      degree, preferably in Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the FMCG or beverage industry.
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong management, leadership, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in economic and business concepts.
  • Strong analytical and coordination abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Knowledge :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good command of English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
  • Other Requirements :

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as required
