We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer / Coordinator to lead mine rescue operations and ensure the highest standards of safety for a prominent project in Saskatchewan. This immediatestart longterm contract offers a rewarding opportunity to bring your expertise to a respected industry leader. If you’re ready to make a difference we want to hear from you!
About the Role :
In this onsite fulltime role you’ll work directly with project personnel fostering a culture of safety and readiness. Haztech will arrange travel from home to site and provide accommodations as needed allowing you to focus on creating a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities :
As a Safety Officer / Coordinator with Haztech you will :
- Lead and participate in mine rescue activities ensuring all safety protocols are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop response strategies for emergency situations.
- Oversee daily safety operations including inspections drills and training programs.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Record and communicate all safety and incident data to continuously improve safety practices.
