Job descriptionBachelor's degree in robotics engineering, mechanical engineering, automated production engineering, electrical engineering or a related field; A minimum of 10 years of experience in robotics projects or similar positions in manufacturing, industrial robotics applications; Experience in application engineering, technical pre‑sales or solution design; Member of the Order of Engineers – an asset; Fluency in French and functional English. System vision and ability to model complex robotic architectures; Excellent ability to synthesise, communicate technically and explain complex concepts in simple terms; High‑level cost estimation; Modelling and simulation of system characteristics : cadence, material flow; Knowledge of machine safety applied to robotics; Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks; Knowledge of Fanuc Roboguide; Knowledge of the main manufacturers and standards in the sector; Analytical mind, rigour, customer service skills and autonomy in improving internal tools; Knowledge of project management; Knowledge of industrial engineering and lean manufacturing; Knowledge of MES, control and SCADA; Sense of innovation and creativity; Overview of manufacturing systems and robotics. - Technical analysis of customer needs and development of customised robotic solutions;
- Design of system architectures based on a high‑level understanding of industrial environments;
- Conceptualisation of robotic cells tailored to customer needs;
- Explaining technical concepts to customers, sales teams and non‑technical stakeholders;
- Drafting technical proposals, including diagrams, simulations and performance estimates;
- Providing technical support to sales, participating in demonstrations and presentations, and responding to calls for tenders;
- Structured transfer of technical files to project teams, with complete documentation and implementation recommendations.
