Position Summary : Are you a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment? Do you enjoy working on-site and collaborating with project teams to ensure smooth project execution? As a Project Coordinator , you will play a critical role in supporting field operations, coordinating engineering-related tasks, and ensuring quality control in construction execution. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assist with scheduling, document control, subcontractor coordination, and technical problem-solving. Responsibilities Assist with the coordination and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules. Provide technical support and field engineering assistance, including interpreting drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies. Support site layout, surveying, and quality control inspections to ensure construction accuracy. Coordinate and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, progress reports, and change orders. Work closely with the site superintendent and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient execution of work. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact project timelines. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and environmental regulations. Assist in procurement and material tracking to ensure timely delivery of resources to the site. Participate in project meetings and liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Support cost control efforts by tracking project expenditures. Qualifications A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in construction coordination, field engineering, or a similar role. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and methodologies. Experience with surveying, AutoCAD, or other design software is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction management software. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team. Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail. Willingness to work in a field environment and travel to project sites as required.
