TEEMAEdmonton, ABProvide risk management oversight of the TPRM program to ensure that third party risks across the org are effectively managed. Ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and implemented and are operating effectively.
Provide subject matter expertise on regulatory requirements and overall emerging risks related to third party risk management.
Analyze third part risk data and information on a continuous basis to provide insights and recommendations. Develop and maintain risk metrics and dashboards to provide clear visibility into third-party risk exposure.
Develop, deploy, refine, and maintain policies, procedures and effective TPRM program design, and provide advice and training to the first line of defense on risk-related issues or program changes. Support the ongoing evolution and continuous improvement of the TPRM program to ensure third party risks are appropriately identified, assessed, managed, monitored, and reported.
Support development of tools, templates and training programs to promote a consistent approach to execution of TPRM activities.

Support maintenance of ServiceNow Vendor Risk Management software to facilitate effective and efficient oversight of third parties in line with regulatory expectations.
Lead third party data clean up activities to enhance data quality for internal and external reporting.
Support remediation of Audit and Regulatory issues and findings relating to the design of the Third-Party Risk Management policies, standards, frameworks, and requirements
Support development of Third-Party Risk Appetite Statements and related metrics, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Risk Appetite Policy
Provide oversight and independent challenge for all TPRM activities completed by the first line of defense and subject matter experts (SMEs), through review, inquiry and independent quality assurance reviews. Ensure the first line of defense is mitigating any risks or issues uncovered during the due diligence process following the suggestions of SMEs.
Provide input and effective challenge to ensure that issues and operational risks events relating to Third-Party Risks are appropriately remediated within set timelines.
Support development, enhancement and implementation of oversight methodologies that rely on data analysis, data aggregation, trend analysis to monitor the control environment related to third parties.
Support implementation of clear, succinct and consistent reporting to identify, measure, monitor and manage third party risks across the org, ensuring senior leadership / executives and governance bodies are apprised of all material updates and results of Third Party Risk oversight activities.
Foster strong stakeholder relationships to enable active and collaborative working relationships with business units and other functions, including other oversight functions.
Monitor new initiative and changes in business processes, information systems, management and operations to coordinate with Information Services, Operational Risk, Legal Services and other corporate functions to ensure mitigation of third party related risks.
What you must have :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of proven experience in third party / vendor risk management, preferably within the banking industry.
Strong familiarity with OSFI Guideline B-10, as well as familiarity with OSFI Guideline B-13 and E-21.
Experience in report automation and efficiency through visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI
Strong proficiency with PowerBI, Python, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance practices, procedures and principles applicable to the banking industry in Canada.
Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work independently to see tasks through to conclusion while also being a strong team player willing to support and work collaboratively with other colleagues.
Strong ability to understand, analyze and interpret regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated comfort with technology-driven processes, including the use of technology to support risk and controls monitoring.
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple monitoring and testing priorities and meet deadlines.
Results-oriented team player.
Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to work across functional boundaries and levels of the organization, involving various first line business areas and second line oversight functions.
Experience dealing with management at all levels, including the capacity to explain TPRM risk exposure from identified incidents, gaps and findings in the language of business.
Ability to provide clear and sound advice on practical, cost-effective solutions to complex issues.
Strong aptitude towards process development and documentation, with attention to details.
Strong analytical skills to gather relevant information, compare and identify trends, develop conclusions with well-supported recommendations.
Nice to have :
Relevant certifications in risk management or related fields (e.g., CRISC, CTPRP).
Experience with crisis management and scenario testing.
