Partner S taffing on behalf of our Client, we are seeking a Mechanical Designer with strong experience in building systems design for a variety of sectors including institutional, government, commercial, recreational, and residential . This role is based in either our Vancouver or Kelowna office and requires proficiency in REVIT for mechanical design and drafting.
Requirements
You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and technologists to deliver high-performance, sustainable, and code-compliant mechanical systems for a range of building types.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical design and construction drawings using REVIT for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to translate design concepts into constructible solutions
- Coordinate models with other disciplines (electrical, structural, architectural)
- Perform site reviews and field verification for as-built conditions
- Assist with equipment selection, specification writing, and cost estimation
- Contribute to energy efficiency and sustainable design initiatives
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
- Attend coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, and clients
